MARINE-GRADE TEAK

Colour:

Marine-grade teak offers a warm, golden hue with rich honey tones that deepen over time to a lustrous golden-brown patina. Its natural oils provide resistance to water, making it a popular choice for boat decks.

Grain/Texture:

Teak showcases a straight, uniform grain with occasional irregularities and interlocking fibers, giving it a distinctive appearance. Its texture is typically coarse and uneven, providing excellent grip for boat decks while retaining a smooth surface for bare feet.

Janka Hardness Rating:

Marine-grade teak is prized for its durability, boasting a notable Janka hardness rating. While specific ratings may vary, teak is renowned for its ability to withstand harsh marine environments and heavy foot traffic.
